  Introduction

  

  Sterilized single-use needle attached onto insulin pen to inject insulin into subcutaneous tissue. Pen needle has a needle, a hub, a shield, a cap and a sterilized paper. On the Cap, a sterilized paper is attached to protect the pen needle and keep it sterilized.

  Needle

  

  Directly attached to the hub, it is used to inject the insulin into human body. A needle is produced from STS304 stainless tubes defined in ISO 9626 or KSD 3698. The needle surface is siliconized to minimized penetration resistance.
